About the tour

Rotorua, a town set on its namesake lake on NZ's North Island, is renowned for its geothermal activity and Maori culture. In Te Puia’s Whakarewarewa Valley, there are bubbling mud pools and the 30m-tall Pohutu Geyser. It’s also home to a living Maori village and the NZ Maori Arts and Crafts Institute.

Sulphur SPA - The Sulphurous Spa is very relaxing and enhances the smoothness and softness of the skin from the mud bath. Other effects include increased blood circulation and a sense of overall well being. A spa experience that truly refreshes and revitalises the mind and body.

Maori Rock Carving Cruise around the scenic bays of Lake Taupo and admire the Maori Rock Carvings aboard listen to informative commentary about the ecology, volcanology and cultural history of the area.
